The goal of the practice of applying these synthetic mink lashes is to enhance the length, thickness, and fullness of natural eyelashes. They are applied individually, or one-by-one, so that they mimic the shape and spacing of real eyelashes. False eyelashes and eyelash extensions are not the same, however. Eyelash extensions must be applied one by one to avoid having them stick together and to ensure they look completely natural.

Since the eyelash extensions fall out as the real eyelashes naturally shed, results can last anywhere from a few weeks to a month depending on the person’s lashes and unique procedure. A fill, or touch-up every 1-3 weeks is recommended to retain the shape of the lashes.
