Injectables

TrueMedSpa’s injectable menu offers a wide array of products to address not only the wrinkles themselves but the muscles that cause lines and furrows to form.

Smooth fine lines and wrinkles, add volume and slow the hands of time with TrueMedSpa’s injectable treatments. As an effective alternative to cosmetic surgery, injectables are a relatively painless, non-invasive way to address signs of aging such as smile lines, deep facial lines, or wrinkles, helping you to look youthful and radiant with little-to-no downtime.

The average duration of a session is 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the areas that need to be treated. The treatment consists of a series of tiny injections that are administered just under the surface of the skin. Depending on the desired effect, varying treatment amounts will be administered. Most procedures are virtually painless and anesthesia is not required. However, your medical provider may use a topical anesthetic or cold pack to reduce any discomfort.

The active ingredients in the injectables are hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite. All of these ingredients help to rejuvenate facial skin by eliminating or reducing wrinkles, augmenting the lips, raising scar depressions and replacing soft-tissue volume loss. The results may last anywhere from a six months to two years, depending on the areas that need to be treated. For optimal results, additional treatments are recommended to boost the continued improvement of the skin.

With age, skin becomes increasingly susceptible to sagging and wrinkles. Years of muscle movement and exposure to the sun play a significant role in contributing to the breakdown of tissue in the skin. TrueMedSpa’s skin rejuvenation expertise can help to restore a younger, more beautiful you – without the hassle and downtime of plastic surgery.

Botox injections may also be used to treat excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis. Botox prohibits the release of a chemical that activates your sweat glands. Results can last for up to 6 months.

Botox®

Unwanted effects of natural aging, sun exposure, a decrease in elasticity, and loss of collagen all add up over time and visibly age your skin. However,  Botox® can treat both the causes and the effects of skin aging thanks to medical advances in muscle relaxers. Botox® relaxes the muscles in problem areas where you want to reduce or blur visible lines that have appeared over time. This not only visibly improves the condition of your skin, but also works to prevent future lines and wrinkles, especially with continued treatment. Learn more about Botox.

Dermal Fillers

As we age, our skin begins to lose elasticity, and wrinkles and fine lines begin to appear. Rather than go through expensive plastic surgery in order to make those fine lines and wrinkles disappear, dermal fillers can restore youth and vitality to your skin instantly, with significantly less downtime from your normal activities.

Kybella®

The Kybella® injection treats and improves the appearance of the build-up of fat below the chin, otherwise known as, “double chin.” Kybella® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment for adults that treats this small area on the neck and lower jaw. Learn more about Kybella ®.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

This treatment involves the injection of platelet-rich plasma — building blocks of protein that the body needs to heal itself — into the hypodermal layer of the skin. Once injected, it immediately begins to stimulate collagen production back to the higher levels of our youth and encourage the growth of stem cells, creating new skin cells at a rapid pace. Xeomin®

The Xeomin® dermal injector delivers Botox® into the muscles around your glabellar lines for a short period of time. It is the only treatment that can treat moderate to severe glabellar lines and frown lines on one side of the forehead at a time. The effect lasts up to 6 months, but may be more effective if used with other treatments.
